The Numbur Cheese Circuit Trek is a breathtaking 15-day journey through some of Nepal’s most remote and scenic Himalayan regions, organized by Multipeak Adventure. This trek offers a perfect blend of high-altitude adventure, cultural immersion, and natural beauty, taking trekkers through lush forests, terraced farmlands, alpine meadows, and rugged mountain passes. Starting from Kathmandu, the trail gradually ascends through picturesque villages, rivers, and ridgelines, offering stunning views at every turn. Multipeak Adventure ensures that the journey is well-planned, comfortable, and safe, making it ideal for both seasoned trekkers and adventurous beginners looking for an authentic Himalayan experience.
The trek’s route takes adventurers to the sacred Panch Pokhari, a cluster of five holy lakes surrounded by pristine mountains. Along the way, trekkers cross challenging high passes, including Panch Pokhari Pass (4,600 m) and Gyajo La / Thulo Lapcha Pass (4,880 m), which provide unparalleled panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and valleys. These high-altitude points are the highlights of the trek, offering both a sense of achievement and stunning photographic opportunities. Multipeak Adventure provides experienced guides and porters to ensure trekkers safely navigate these challenging sections while enjoying the spectacular scenery.
Along the trail, trekkers experience rich cultural interactions in remote villages such as Ngyeju, Lha-Chhewar, and Kyama. These communities, predominantly Sherpa and Tamang, offer a glimpse into traditional lifestyles, local hospitality, and unique mountain customs. Multipeak Adventure emphasizes cultural immersion, allowing trekkers to learn about local festivals, agricultural practices, and cuisine while staying in comfortable tea houses and guesthouses. This cultural element adds depth to the trekking experience, making it more than just an adventure but also a journey into Nepalese heritage.
The Number Cheese Circuit Trek also stands out for its diverse landscapes. Trekkers pass through dense rhododendron and pine forests, cross pristine rivers, navigate alpine ridges, and walk through terraced farmlands, offering a constantly changing panorama. Each day of the trek is carefully planned by Multipeak Adventure to balance trekking hours, altitude gain, and rest, ensuring proper acclimatization while maximizing scenic exposure. The trek is moderate to challenging in difficulty, with trekking hours averaging 4–7 per day, making it suitable for those who enjoy both adventure and comfort.
The trek concludes with a return to Kathmandu, where participants can enjoy sightseeing at major cultural and historical landmarks such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Patan Durbar Square. Multipeak Adventure ensures that the trek ends on a high note, providing seamless transport, hotel accommodation, and a farewell experience that reflects the richness of Nepal’s culture and landscapes. The Number Cheese Circuit Trek is more than just a journey; it is an unforgettable adventure that combines high-altitude thrills, cultural discovery, and the natural beauty of the Himalayas, all expertly organized and supported by Multipeak Adventure.
